In case you don't have the ppm repositories enabled that
provide an HTML-Mason package,

If you compiled mod_perl yourself, did you also use the
same compiler to build perl and Apache? Sometimes there's
problems mixing binaries built with different versions
of compilers.

LoadModule apreq_module modules/mod_apreq2.so
in your httpd.conf? Note the "2" at the end of
mod_apreq2.so.
