Are your IP addresses on your local LAN of the form 192.168.0.xxx? If
they are something else, like 192.168.1.xxx, you need to change the
above accordingly.

I haven't been able to get IP masquerading to work with one
application. I would like to see if it's something in my setup or if
it's just not possible to use it with this application. Can anyone tell
me, would the following allow ALL hosts access to not only my linux
system but any other computer

After having a working rh5.2 with masq and a newly proper internal set of
addresses, it now does not. I tested with PORT ftp, telnet, HTTP from
different machines and it worked when I tested it. Now it does not and I
am sure I have not changed anything. I've tried rebooting, going back to

Hello all.
My Masq-Gate isn't working, I don't know why.

System: RedHat 5.2(glibc) using kernel 2.0.36.
For testing, I'm using an 56K-PPP - dialout-Connection from my
'masq-gate to-be' to my ISP.
The device is called ppp0.
the 'eth0'-device in my masq-box gets it's IP per DHC

Sirs:
Just so ya know ... the Motorola BitSurfr Pro will allow you mux both ISDN
channels (Multilink PPP - done in hardware) -- it isn't necessary to hang two
TA's off of a system.

As I understand it, "bzImage" and "zImage" use the same compre
If I'm not mistaken, there are some routers in the Ascend Pipeline
series that can handle multiple BRI's. I saw some for sale on Ebay for
cheap ($300 or so).
