What do you mean other cases work? Are you using version 4.1? by "runse"
you mean "run_se"?
Do you get answer by runse('case14') without definging the measurement
parameters?

Hello,
I can't do state estimation for case118 system and It gives me error of:
No remaining bad data, after discarding data 1 time(s).
Largest value of B = NaN
??? NaN's cannot be converted to logicals.
Error in ==> printpf at 168
nzld = find(bus(:, PD) | bus(:, QD));

Good point. The changes to the bus matrix should have no effect on Ybus. I have
moved the makeYbus() call outside the loop for the next release.
Thanks for suggesting this improvement.

Dear shiyang,
Thanks for your contributions. In fact I had thought in the direction of your
first option.
During the grid connection I allow the grid supply to be the only slack bus.
The five generators bus location defined as PV bus. Then in Islanding I
re-define the bus as the slack bus since
Dear Dr Ray,
Thanks for the explanations.
Kind regards

Subject: Re: AC power flow for multiple generators
Dear Idris Musa,
As far as I know version 4.1 explicitly allows more than one slack bus (bus
it still cannot deal the situation when the Q output of any slack bus reach
its limit). 'pfsoln.m' defined how to distribute the generations. From it we
know Matpower assigned all active network loss undert
MATPOWER's power flow does not currently handle distributed slack, so the only
time it makes sense to specify more than one slack bus is in an islanded
system, where you need one in each island. If you set multiple reference buses
in a fully connected network, it will distribute the slack among
Dear all,
I want run AC power flow, considering multiple generators with possibility of
Islanding using MATPOWER 4.1.
In addition to the grid supply I have five generators of equal output capacity
at particular bus location. I defined this bus location as slack bus. This
means I have two slack b
