That is not correct, the impedance has to be in series, not in parallel. The
admittance are indeed in parallel, but remember that a parallel connection of
admittances is calculated as Y = Y1 + Y2. The equivalents are then simply:
Z = Z1 + Z2 (series impedances)
Y = Ysh1 + Ysh2 (parallel admi
Dear Ray Sir
In my case i have 4 Island and remove the buses of 3 Island
having no generation and the Island 1 have a reference bus. In generation side
dispatched load is less than the capacity due to which there is a mismatch in
load and generation. Is it a natural case or I can
You can just copy cpf_default_callback.m (or any of the other cpf__cb.m
callback functions), rename it, and replace the contents with your own
functionality.

It is not clear what you are trying to accomplish, but MATPOWER code is just
like any other Matlab code. You can duplicate and rename runpf.m and modify it
to your heart’s content. However, multiplying an entire bus or branch matrix by
2 is certainly not a valid thing to do. For one thing the bu
I’m not sure I understand your question. But you will need to run a power flow
or OPF on island 1 in order to have a valid power flow solution with matching
load and generation.

Oh, I got it.
Mr. Todorovski, thank you so much.
