Hello,
I have two questions about CPF for finding out ATC on IEEE 14 bus system
1). Is it possible to code the CPF (continuation power flow) method
algorithm in matlab for finding out the ATC (available transfer
capability) on all the lines of IEEE 14 bus test system.
2). Is it po

Hello sir,
Can anyone tell me is it possible to code the continuation
power flow method (CPF) in matlab .M file for finding out the available
transfer capability (ATC) on IEEE 14 bus system.?
Thank you sir

AC power flow solution is carried out with a Newton-Rhapson method for a fixed
generation/loading profile. Continuation pow

Yes. You may be able to use the contributed CPF code in extras/cpf. The next
version of MATPOWER will include continuation power flow as a supported feature.

Hello sir,
I have a question that,
1) what is the contributed CPF code ?
2) where i get the new version of matpower?
Thank you sir,

1) See extras/cpf/cpf_intro.pdf in the MATPOWER 4.1 distribution.
2) When it is available, you’ll be able to get it from the MATPOWER home page
as always.
