MaxDB Python on SuSE Linux Pro 9.2

Hi, I found the python-py23ucs4 modules today in the maxdb-python-linux-32bit-i386-7_5_00_23.tgz . I would have expected all the different modules of maxdb-python-linux-32bit-i386 also in the maxdb-scriptif.rpm, but they weren't there. Why is in the maxdb-scriptif.rpm only the old pyhton 1.5 mod

patch for RTE_SystemLinux.h still needed ?

Hi ! Since version 7.5.0.8 we have to apply the following patch (that Daniel Dittmar provided) to the file RTE_SystemLinux.h to make maxdb build with newer versions (3.2 is not really new anymore) versions of gcc. Maybe the patch can be added to the original sources by now ? regards mundi --- V
