Hi,(re-sent to put on mailing list)
Thanks for getting back, ok.
There are no deletes in this instance, and also no inserts. Under normal
circumstances, I would do an insert if the last "select" returned no rows,
but that was in effect resetting an existing property with this problem.

Hi, Alexander. Could you confirm this? It could be fixed in the future?

First one is why does maxdb_num_rows always return -1?
If it's a bug in the api any ideas when it will be fixed?
Second one is about the functionality of maxdb_query and MaxDB's stored
procs. If a stored proc is called and returns out vars can we not just have
mysql_query return an array (or objec

Hi,
We are currently migrating our application from ADABAS-D 11 to MaxDB (current
release). As MaxDB depends partially on ADABAS-D, this seems to be quite

There is a lot of log which is read and redone until the error occurs.
This is very unusual for a normal restart after a shutdown.
Please send me the following files dbm.utl, dbm.prt, knldiag.err, knltrace.
Kind regards,

thank you for reporting this. The newest Package available at cpan at
http://search.cpan.org/~maxdb/DBD-MaxDB-7.5.00.24a
should fix this problem.
Is it always the way, that the newest module is awailable at CPAN
instead of the MySQL-Download-Section?

Hi,
today a "Bad datapage" caused an emergency shutdown right after the optimizer
run this night.
Do you have an idea how to solve this?
Can I check to which table the bad datapage belongs to?
Is it possible to repair it.
