Make sure, that you define the path of the pipe within DBMGUI as
\\.\pipe\testpipedata. If the problem persists, resend the dbm.ebl to the list
(e.g. copied into the mail itself), as your last attachment did not make it
through the mailing list.

I'm using MaxDb 7.6.0.12 on Linux Suse ES 9.
My database hangs during normal working.
I don't know what is DB exactly doing (what SQL statement is running).
I cannot connect to DB (SQL Studio, DbmGUI), so it seams that xserver is
