hello!
since we have the same problem (it occured after i was installing a 5th
database instance on our server) i will also try adding this line to
/etc/sysctl.conf.
but i'm courious what exactly does this line do? could i run into
problems when i set these values too high?

thank you very much, increasing the database parameter DATA_CACHE has
solved our problem!
the system has been running without any errors for 4 days now.

i have sapdb 7.3.24 running on red hat 7.2. let's call this machine db.
on a second red hat 7.2 machine i have jboss 2.4.4 running. let's call
this machine web.
ok, jboss running on web connects to the database running on db. the
network connection between both machines is fast enough
rence to a third
table, but no other table (yet) references it.
if you need the create-statements for the whole database i will mail it
to the list.
