If the error -902 is caused by reading from the log volume you have to re install with a proper disk and controller. If this error is coming from The log backup because for example your given tape/file could not be opened you only have to change your backup medium. You can find an answer in the file knldiag. It looks like my log devspace file is currupt. The last time I had this problem with a Data devspace, I had to reinstall the whole database instance. Is there anyway that I can rebuild the Log devspace file or repair it (In cold mode) Or do I really have to reinstall the instance ?
