Hi I am using MaxDB for an web project.
Now I would like to make use of the high availability feature of maxDB. Understanding from the docs, the hot-standby setup requires: 1, Database software; MaxDB 7.5.08 or above 2, Cluster solution; Microsoft Cluster Server, IBM High Availability Cluster Multiprocessing for AIX clustering software. 3, Memory management system I have the following questions: A, Is there a list of supported cluster solution, Memory management system for maxDB available? B, For the basic and lowest cost setup, what is the recommendation? C, Do I need all three items? Can I just use cluster + DB and without Memory management system?
