Why don't you create a PortAudioMBS object on start and keep it around?

I've been using PortAudioMBS for a long time, I'm happy with it.
Also, I get that Windows Audio has it's natural issues.
Here's the problem I've noticed over some years - some customers (all
Windows) complain that my apps stall on startup. The problem is
always the same. I do:
