Pavel, do I need to resend this to devel list and/or submit to the patch manager? Same
question about the quick sort case sensitivity patch? Will they be included in 4.60?

I don't see any problem here that would not be a result of reusing a generic
subshell. mc doesn't track the state of the subshell after every keystoke sent
to the subshell. It only knows that it's safe to send commands to the subshell
after it has returned the prompt and no new data was sent

Hello!
I use mc 4.6.0-pre2 and I can't use vfs-ftp properly.
I have tryed logging of FTP commands and it's look like
there is an wrong '/' at the begginig of paths:
FTP support was tested before the release and I didn't see this problem. Is
there any public FTP that exhibits this problem?
Each time i compiled or installed mc-4.6.0-pre2 I couldn't help but
notice that
mc.hlp.it took forever to finish. I finally got around to looking in the
source/doc
and /usr/local/share/mc directories and found that the file was more than
164_MEGABYTES_HUGE. This happens when compiling
