F2, F3, and F10 show no reaction. However, `learn keys' indicates
that all function keys are passed through. For root I'm running
version 4.6.2-pre1 (installed as an openSuSE 11.2 RPM package), and
everything works as expected.

Changing the configure options to include --with-included-gettext
fixed it.
