Hi,
In last versions of MC I faced a very irritating thing - it started to
visualize TABs and SPACEs. Most annoying thing is that there is no way
to disable this directly, using UI.
After some googling, I found the solution. To disable I add lines to ~/.mc/ini:
editor_visible_tabs=0

I have been having problems lately getting M-C
to look the same under 2 different window managers.
This is MC under Icewm:

Both wm's call it the same way:

FYI: OS is slack 13.0 32-bit.

1)MC is my favorite application
2)I would be lost without MC
3)They'll take away my MC when they pry it from my cold, dead
fingers.
