implement TLS.
postfix's sendmail will use it if you tell it to, and get those
certificates installed

In mc hit Ctrl-o again. Hit enter, in the shell. Ctrl-o to get back to
mc. All done.
After closing mc and going back in the problem stopped.

The groff feature has been there for many years. I agree, it's an
annoyance when viewing logrotate files, but it's minor and the benefit

terminals, notably GNU screen(1). It's not in the pull-down menu,
though.

FWIW, TERM is set to xterm.
And this too depends on what's in the system termcap database. You may
also wish to discuss this with Panix support.
