I somehow manage to land in an unreachable directory (long story short,
I use screen and open a new screen and the prompt says: u...@host:
(unreachable)/$)
If I start mc at this moment the whole server locks up and later I see this
in syslog:
Out of memory: Kill process 10063 (mc)

I just tried to build mc git version on a Ubuntu 10.10 server x64 but
autogen.sh complained about missing '/usr/share/gettext/archive.tar.gz'
http://packages.ubuntu.com/maverick/amd64/gettext/filelist shows it's not
there although on a desktop version of Ubuntu 10.10 x64 I have something
... finally ;)
