I'll take this opportunity to thank all of the contributors to this wonderful program that I have been using since 1996 with my first foray into Slackware Linux. I recall that its package description said something about Norton Commander, but I never saw it or used it back in my MS/PC-DOS days.

I use tmux to keep Mutt running on my home machine and when I log in remotely I can issue 'tmux attach' and pick up where I left off. The nice thing is that it keeps the session alive even when there is no active terminal connected to it. For example, even with no remote connections, if I issue
