remember / save left and right directory

Why MC do not remember last directory (right/left windows) when I quit from it ? How to fix it ? (My old mc) works perfect # mc --version GNU Midnight Commander 2007-03-09-18 (current git mc) do not remember last directory when I quit it. # mc --version GNU Midnight Commander
