It looks like midnight commander destroyed my file that was open when no
space left on the drive. I can't remember all the details. I know only that
there was a red dialog with probably something like "this file is already
open in another mcedit instance: save or cancel".

I'm curious whether there is a way to change default configuration that is
generated when user invokes mc for the first time?
For example, I want "use_internal_edit" to be true by default instead of
false for any new user.
If there is a way to do it, then is it possible to just use lines
e same
as for usermenu entries - they are handled by the same code.

Hi All.
I'm trying to use macro in mcedit. Man says, that recoded macros should end
up in ~/.local/share/mc/mc.macros file. Neither when I record a macro nor
when I use "save setup" in mcedit or mc I do no see any updates in
mc.macros. If I exit from mc and start it again, recorded macro get
this behavior in persistent_selections option or
to introduce new option?
For some reason I can't login to trac even after I changed my password, so
I'm sending my patch by e-mail.
