I thought that it would be nice to trigger CK_EditNew and other actions when running a macro, or a usermenu entry. It can be done via signals (USR1), attached is a patch. For running from macros inside mc/mcedit, what's sufficient is to execute: mc --ck EditNew (because the pid is exported)
