I'm using mc-4.8.16 in french language and

I think I found an error with mc. (By the way I am a newbie) I was
trying the ctrl-o option to see if I could use my shell while having mc
suspended. However when I switched back to the shell it freaked out and
would not allow me to enter any commands and also gave me an
look like '[EMAIL PROTECTED] dir]$', when you do above steps
prompt is different '[EMAIL PROTECTED] dir]$ [EMAIL PROTECTED] dir]$'.
I don't know is this a MC bug, maybe ncurses, or something else.
I'm using MC rpm (4.6.1a-20041215) from Fedora Core Devel tree under
FC2.

then removed.
Following patch fixes this (don't know if this has any side effects).
Consider applying. Patch is against current CVS.
