DUration : 6+months

Work with Development and QA Teams in an agile environment including but
not limited to: attending daily stand ups, all

product meetings and involvement with tasks on the development board.
Conduct regular performance tuning and testing including analysis of usage
patterns
Manage user accounts and access privileges. Create and optimize physical
tables and associated configurations (e.g.

partitions, segments).
Database backup and recovery
Perform capacity planning in collaboration with other team members and
system administrators.
Participate in the installation of new database products, database versions
and fix patches
Establish DB2 standards, document database change procedures and
communicate impact to stakeholders
Implement and maintain disaster recovery procedures (e.g. failover)
Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

Five years required; 7 years preferred ,must have at least 1 year of
experience with ORACLE as a DBA
DB2 Database Administration Experience to include proven technical
experience in the following areas:  DB2 v9 or higher; AIX;

LINUX;DB2 Purescale; Partitioning; Backup and Recovery; SQL; Stored
Procedures; Functions; Shell Scripting; DB Artisan;

Netezza, Data Modeling; Oracle and/or SQL Server experience a plus – The
desire and interest to learn Netezza is also highly

valued.
Degree Requirement:  No, 4 year preferred
