*Network AdministratorPhilly, PAFulltime position* *DESCRIPTION*The Network Administrator is responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting all network and voice-related hardware, software, and communication links. In addition, the Network Administrator's responsibilities include managing and ensuring the stability of all network, voice, and wireless services throughout the enterprise. The responsibilities and duties of this position include the following; Participating in managing all network security solutions, including firewall, and intrusion detection systems, overseeing installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network/VoIP-related equipment, conducting research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts. *QUALIFICATIONS* The job requirements of this position include having a minimum of 5 years of experience in each of the following disciplines: Network administration, CISCO IPT (Call Manager, Unified Messaging, and Cisco Contract Center), LAN, WAN, WLAN and WWLAN implementation and management, network capacity planning, security principles, and best practices, enterprise network troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, MPLS, EPL, etc...), and reading and creating technical documentation. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required; Cisco Associate and/or Professional level certification(s) preferred. This is a fast paced position and requires the ability to deal with stress. The position requires lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals weighing up to 50 pounds, from time to time. Candidate must have on-call availability for fourteen [14] days per month or more, sitting for extended periods of time, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components, occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to coordinate tasks and resolve anomalies.
