Job Title : Maniframe Programmer Location : Lynnfield, MA. Duration : 6 Months Contract Face to Face is Required Rate :- $40/hr on C2C MAX Technical Knowledge: Applicants must have 6+ years mainframe-programming (VSAM,CA7) experience using COBOL and JCL. Applicant must have 2 + years experience with Eztrieve, Applicant must have 2+ years experience with HP Dialogue (Exstream) composition. Experience with Metavante CSF is very desirable. Knowledge of print mail systems and print file formats (AFP, Metacode, Postscript) is very desirable. Required Skills: The individual in this position must be experienced in COBOL programming on a mainframe platform and HP Dialogue (Exstream) environment. Metavante CSF very desirable. Job Description: Contractor will be responsible for doing analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and implementing the required software changes for multiple projects. Develops, maintains and supports software systems that support both PNC GIS and internal staff with day-to-day operations. Assist team with training and documentation of existing processes. Success Factors: The candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision. Must be self-reliant, self-starting and willing to involve corporate staff when needed. Must be organized, meticulous about coding and visual/interface design standards. Must have good communications skills and be able to relate technical issues to non-technical staff . Must have strong organizational and analytical skills as well as practical problem-solving and decision-skills. Experience in the mutual fund/transfer agency industry is desirable.
