Role: Network performance engineer

Location: NJ

Duration: Contract



(1) The candidate must have knowledge on network performance related tools
such as HTTP Watch, New Relic, Catch Point, Wireshark, Fiddler.


(2) NYL has HTTP Watch. The candidate must be able to run HTTP Watch and
share the results with the application stakeholders on frequent basis.


(3) With limited or no support the candidate must be able to proactively
run and share the results


(4) We have a QA Manager who is executing HTTP Watch and driving this
activity. The candidate will get the transition from our the QA Manager and
should be able to support this network monitoring responsibility.


(5) The candidate must have prior knowledge on service level calls, client
- server communication, etc.


(6) At this point the service level SLAs are <3 seconds, but taking more
than 12 seconds and up to 30 seconds sometimes. Hence this role will
basically be a network performance monitoring role and provide basic
analysis and observations to the application stakeholders.


(7) Candidate needs to be good in communication and should be able to
independently handle this project.


(8) High end associate or SA level performance test engineer will be
appropriate.
