Job Description:*Deskside Engineer with Break-fix Exp.*
Location: Cleveland OH
Job Type: FULLTIME

*Description:*

   - Provides primary support to Executive users
   - Assists customer end users and current staff with technical support of
   desktop and laptop computers, applications and related technology.
   - Provides hardware break/fix support and warranty support for current
   desktop/laptop/workstation devices
   - Installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within
   established standards and guidelines
   - Application software and operating systems support to diagnose and
   resolve unique, non-recurring problems
   - Reimages systems as required.
   - Understanding of IT services
   - Provides Smart Hands support to L1 and L2 support teams
   - Works with SMEs to provide extension of hands and feet support as
   required
   - Provides basic support for PDAs, Blackberrys and printers
   - Provides equipment move services
   - Recommends and / or performs upgrades on systems to ensure longevity.
   - Works with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software.
   - Performs other duties as assigned

 *Desired Experience:*

   - Must possess strong executive/senior leader quality customer service
   skills
   - At least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
   required
   - Prefer Dell Certified Technician
   - Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
   - Strong Microsoft operating System installation and troubleshooting
   skills
   - Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Remedy
   - Must have a sense of urgency and the ability to comprehend SLA's and
   in scope work
   - Strong Break / Fix skills Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and
   Printers
   - Broad experience of IT with basic understanding of  Networks, Intel
   Servers and Telecoms
   - Unix first level troubleshooting and software loading
   - Ability to provide consistent, excellent customer support to entire
   staff, representing a variety of personalities and management levels
   including executive
   - Strong written and verbal communication skills
   - Good time management skills and the ability to work independently if
   needed
   - Must be detail oriented and self-motivating
   - Background security check required
   - Experience performing remote control of PCs and video conferencing
   knowledge
