Title: Whitebox/ Automation Test Engineer - Redwood City, CA posted on 2014-10-08 15:42:19 Job Description: Whitebox/ Automation Test Engineer Location: Redwood City, CA Rate: DOE Visa: Open Duration: 6+ months Position Overview: Our direct client is looking for a senior Whitebox/ Automation QA to create and execute test plans for multiple web based ecommerce application products. Your role will include, writing test plans, creating and automating test cases, designing and executing tests. You will also be required to work with an off-shore testing team, guiding them to successfully execute the test plans you have created. Skills Required: - 6+ years’ experience testing Web based application Testing. - Must have experience with RIA testing. - Must have the ability to create test cases from scratch. - Must have strong Automation Tool Experience with Selenium. - Experience working in an Agile/ Scrum environment. - Solid SDLC experience required. - Must have familiarity working with off-shore teams. - Programming experience with Java and at least one of the following scripting language, Python, Ruby, PHP or Perl. - Strong Windows and Linux Experience. - Ecommerce and/ or digital imaging experience is desired. - Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
