Job Title:- Oracle Database Developer Location:- NEW YORK CITY Duration:- 6 Months Contract Face to Face is Required Rate:- $50/hr on C2C Required Skills:- 10+ years data modeling, database architecture and database implementation (specifically pertaining to applications development (not database administration)) 10+ years experience utilizing database modeling tools Significant experience designing and building databases that support both OLTP and OLAP processing of data and support J2EE application usage. Extensive experience designing high performance databases and the manipulation, extraction, querying and reporting of data/information Significant experience with both MS SQL Server and Oracle implementations and migrations. Ability to apply logical model to physical database construction Extensive experience performance optimization, indexing and partitioning Extensive experience supporting high capacity databases on Oracle Extensive development experience with stored procedures Create shell scripts for task automation Create, test and execute data management languages Polished written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks without full time supervision Strong detail oriented approach with thorough analytical skills and problem solving Ability to work with and mentor development team members BS in Engineering, Computer Science or other equivalent academic background PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: In this position you must be able to work with business and technical colleagues to drive initiatives forward. Must have the ability to work within an ambiguous environment at times and actively present ideas that provide positive results. Provide data architecture analysis, database design and recommendations, performance analysis and tuning and database implementation. Participate and business and functional requirement analysis and provide positive contributions to efforts.
