Meet with business users and technical users to develop data requirements specifications. Create database objects to solve business and technical needs. Create and/or modify database code to meet specifications. Tests and debugs database objects. Maintain and assist in the creation of security measures to safeguard against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure Create logical and physical database design, logic flow charts and process diagrams. Develop processes for data migration and integration between system Work as liaison between the functional groups (especially ETL development and DBA). Create (Logical) Entity Relationship Diagram Models to reflect business view of the data. Reviews DB and Java solutions and recommends best practices, assisting with implementation or developing examples where appropriate Analyzes application performance with data systems as the focus, making recommendations and assisting in performance resolution Work with a global team distributed between India and the United States. Expert in troubleshooting issues related to CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other types of resource contention Experience with data modeling and schema design, database architecture and creating a high-performance, reliable and scalable solution Deep experience with developing and testing all database code such as stored procedures and functions, index management, and general SQL tuning statistics and integrity checks Work with a global team distributed between India and the United States. Required Skills: *Significant experience working with large-scale systems and data platforms/warehousesSeveral years of software development experience, writing clean re-useable code, test-driven development, and continuous integrationOracle 12c/11g.
