The Treasury team within Wholesale is looking for a Sr. Windows Systems Engineer who will be responsible for support activities on Windows server operating systems. Provides complex analysis of systems software and hardware requirements to determine operating systems specifications and customizations. Provides support to build utility systems as required for installations, configurations, upgrades and testing. Develops new documentation, participates in the development of departmental technical procedures and designs user support guides. May be required to leads projects, including assignment of tasks to matrixed teams.. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area for the business continuation/contingency plan, (BCP). This individual will also be part of the 24x7 on-call/pager support for the existing Windows systems. Candidate must possess solid analytical, technical, written and oral communication skills. Minimum Qualifications a.. 7+ years of experience in Windows operating systems analysis/ engineering. b.. 6+ years of experience with deployment platforms such as Jumpstart and Kickstart servers. c.. 3+ years of experience with performance management using tools such as BMC Patrol & Enterprise Performance Assurance. Capacity planning skills with be a plus. d.. 5+ years of experience with high-availability and Disaster-Recovery using technologies such as Veritas Cluster Services, SRDF, Timefinder/BCVs is a must. e.. 2+ years of experience automating activities within HPOVO/HPSA (OpsWare) and automated scripting. f.. This individual will perform administrative and planning activities on all Windows servers OS environments including 2K/2k3/2k8.
