*Position: Sr QA Performance Test SpecialistLocation: Richmond, VA | Wilmington, DEDuration: 3+ monthsClient is looking for someone who has exceptional communication skillsUS Citizen and GC Holder only!* The Sr. QA Performance Test Specialist will work under general supervision to monitor software quality and associated business / technical risks across the software development lifecycle. Define and analyze technical risk for new and/or modified software products, then document, perform and interpret performance tests to mitigate risk. Perform varied and complex assignments of the software and systems performance testing. Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other technical personnel. Guide, direct others and perform in the set-up and performance of the tests. Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation procedures to be used in the product design phase through the initial production release. *Basic qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or substituted with 5+ years of relevant IT / Quality experience Demonstrated experience with various project management methodologies, including Agile methodologies and supporting techniques (e.g. Test Driven Development and continuous integration processes), packaged system implementations, and traditional specification-driven approaches Demonstrated experience with business processes and related systems supporting either Commercial Bank, Retail Bank, Credit Card or Finance industries Minimum of 3+ years’ experience performing full time Performance Testing functions Must have well rounded testing skills with a firm understanding of performance testing methodologies, functional end to end testing, system testing, batch processing, user acceptance testing, and regression Solid experience with HP Quality tools (ALM / Quality Center, Performance Center, LoadRunner, Sitescope) *“Recruiting is made easier with JobPencil.com” * JobPencil.com – is the leading technology job portal which connects the Employers looking to hire highly talented professionals and the candidates looking for right opportunities and employers.
