Although I am using a optical digital cable from my Sony MDS-JE530
to my digital amp.
The display on the Sony says analog output when a Disk is playing.
how do I change this , I cant find any way to do it ?

Not to mention that MD would be
a dual function format (ATRAC MP3) that can record. Just my 2 cents
worth.
Does anyone know if there might be someone with influential power at
Sony that keeps tabs on this mailing list? This is the way to find out
what t
of the two with MD units
that are capable of decoding the 140MB worth MP3's that an MD can hold
but are still also true ATRAC MD machines. This is the obvious solution
for survival AND wide-spread acceptance of the MD format. Sony, are you
listening?
