Hey,

I do alot of digital recording with my minidisc R37. When patching into
a coax output, I use a midiman CO2 w/ a 9V battery adapter, a quality
Radio Shack coax cable (with the gold ends), and the optical cable that
came with my unit. It worked fine the first couple of times, but
recently, the digital signal has faded after about 15minutes of
recording, and my minidisc says "no digital signal". Also, when it
begins to record, my minidisc places several track marks where there
should be none (182 in 11 minutes last time) before the signal becomes
cracks and pops, and then fades to nothing. At first, I believed it was
the midiman, but I have just replaced that and the problem continues.
The optical cable works fine (alone) as well. I even tried a new coax
cable, and still got nothing. Any suggestions??? I know there's a signal
coming through, because other patchers (DAT mostly) get the signal fine,
and this has occurred in several different situations. I belive it might
be my battery, but the red led on the CO2 lights up fine....

Geoff
