I've just bought my first 80 minute blank mini disk to use on my Sony
MZ-R50. I'm finding that anything recorded on it 'hiccups' continuously for
the first 10 minutes or so, then it settles down to normal playback. Has

Did you try to divide the hiccups part from the rest, delete it and
re-record on it I did it and on my case on the second recording
i didn't have hiccups or dropouts or whatever.
What sort of recording did you made (anolog or digital).
