MD: Voquette Netlink adapter?

Has anyone noticed that there is absolutely no indication whether the Netlink can stop/start a Sharp MD722? for $70, and sold by Sharp, I would expect it to have a special Sharp connector that plugs in so that the automatic timed recording as publicised is achievable. The photographs are nicely
