MD: question..

I am new to the minidisc scene.. I was wondering if there is a way to "dump"
files from a computer to a minidisc w/out having to play the entire track..
like for example from mp3, aif or wav to md..

also.. I just got a sony mz-r70 .. I was wondering if that is a good
player/recorder...
