I had a great deal of trouble getting a JB940 last fall, as Sony was
severely behind in shipping its orders, so I ordered one from 2
different web retailers. A friend asked me to keep both orders so he
could buy one from me, and then crapped out on me. Before I send the

I wanted to let everyone know that my $289 quote (on the Sony JB940
deck) I got from Video Direct (dot com) a week ago is wrong; I called in
an order today, and it's actually about $30 higher. They said the price
hasn't been $289 in "a long time."
Does anyone know of a better price out there?
Does anyone have a good lead on who sells the Sony 940 deck at the best
price? thanx!

I don't know which I enjoyed more, the long extraneous stuf on gun control, or the
many many repeats of quoted material from the previous digest; I think about 75% of

that's surely not been left
