My P3 450MHz is running quite happily at 540MHz with a bus speed of 40MHz.
Don't kid yourself about a K6-3 being faster than a P3, it isn't. The only
thing AMD have that outperforms a P3 is the Athlon, but there are still
compatibility issues with some of the more obscure MMX instructions on it.
