THanks for your help! Nowadays all portable models are completing to be the smallest in size and have the longest replay time. So what does that mean? They have to squeeze a tiny little battary inside the unit which is small in size and light in weight. Moreover, they have to design a circult that will consume as less power as possible and save the last juicy for operation. Now, for you question, if you want to complete with the noise from the jet engine I'd suggest you to get an headphone amp as well as a headphone with noise cancellation..
