Jean surely means the French verb "ignorer" there (which means, in English,
not to know -- that he doesn't know whether Nat can title tracks with his
keyboard) and not the English verb "ignore" (to refuse to acknowledge
something, to act as if it didn't exist).

As to Nat's question,

| I've got a Sony MZ-R55 portable recordable MiniDisc system, I've also
| got a digital soundcard on my PC. What I want to know is if there are
| any programmes out there (preferably free- or shareware) that will allow
| me to label tracks on recorded MiniDiscs using the computer keyboard.

The digital soundcard won't help, because the S/PDIF connection does not
carry titling information. If you had a deck with an infrared remote, Martin
Danek's device could get a PC to generate the right IR codes for titling; if
you had a deck with a keyboard port the titling capability is built in; but
on a portable you're pretty much out of luck for titling by keyboard.
