>> and while having the songs blended together is nice for something like a DJ mix, its a minus not having track markers. << Um - Since All I DO are DJ mixes, I dont mind not having the "space" between songs. I do radio etc and thus cant STAND the spaces between songs. Anyway - the reason I LOVE MD is that even if I dont get the mark right when making the mix - I can just go back and "fix" the tag by deleting and inserting a break. So all I have to do is to get it close (withing a few seconds) and then edit the MD by moving though fame by frame. Oh the Denon MDR2300 does make that a bit easier to do than some home units becuase of the "jog" dial. This is the major advantage of MD over CD-R. I can fix the track markers and then burn the CD. Yeah - in *theory* the sound quality isnt there (I cant hear it) but when Im laying track over each other - I cant do that in the digital doamain anyway (short of a digital mixer etc - way too $$$ for my budget -and frankly IMHO - not worth the supposed better quality anyway) EWong ----------------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
