Assuming we are talking analogue copying, for those who need to handle
multiple in/out at the amplifier I can recommend QED audio products. Here's
the link to their page for 2-deck or 3-deck "tape deck" adapters
(<http://www.qed.co.uk/switching/input.html>).  I got one years ago to
switch in and out signals between amp, TV, VCR, cassette and reel-to-reel
(nostalgia - not!) (but only a 2-deck adapter so I still had to do some
occasional juggling).

Vivanco (website: <http://www.vivanco.com/pgo.html>) have a 4-way - look
under Audio | Audio/Video distribution. I expect others (Tandy? Maplin?)
have similar.
