Hi. Rick: >I checked its dimensions again. Do folks realize how tiny >this thingis? At 78.9 x 72 mm, it's 1mm wider and 2mm >taller than an MD jacket(MD Jacket: 78x70mm). And at 17.3mm >it's half a mm thinner than theSharp MD-MT831. Amazing. Why don't you compare with othr PLAYERs ? MD jacket 78.0 x 70.0 JVC XM-PX5 71.0 x 78.0 x14.4 Sony MZ-E90 78.4 x 71.5 x13.5(wow!) Aiwa AM-HX50 71.6 x 78.5 x14.2 Sony MZ-R90 78.9 x 72.0 x17.3 Pana SJ-MJ70 71.7 x 79.7 x14.5 : Sharp MD-MT831 79.4 X 81.8 x17.9 So, MZ-R90 has about same area as smallest PLAYERs. And only 3mm thicker. So, my understanding is that it's about the size of a smallest player PLUS one disc, roughly. I myself don't think that size is not that important for a recorder(then why don't you go for a player), but the fact that MZ-R55 became that popular suggests that this MZ-R90/91 will be a big hit.
