There is a rather "expensive" box that was designed for
use to adapt early Sony chagners to non changer equipped head
unit (Sony or otherwise).
It has a unit link cable to connect to the changer, power
cables for input, RCA cables for input
would the "expensive box" work the other way around?
i.e. could you connect the changer control cable coming from a Sony
head-unit which DOES have changer capability to the box and in turn connect
the box to a cable with RCAs leading to a 3.5 mm plug - allowing you to
hook an MD/CD portable
