Hi DanB, I moved my GoogleSearch.php to extension folders and modify the
LocalSettings.php accordingly. This GoogleSearch.php file is the second part

Please disregard my last email. I was logged into the wrong cPanel!

namespace to be "mWiki". On my PC version, I've set $wgSitename to be
"mWiki", and I read somewhere on the MediaWiki site that you can have the

I have to keep checking Recent Changes for my wiki to catch vandalism as it
happens. Is there an extention that would send an alert on my IM, cell phone or

I guess I could edit my current extension to include the email feature but I
was wondering if anyone
Don't create any files in the "include" folder. That is only for the core
MediaWiki code. Put your custom files in the "extensions" folder, which is for
third-party additions like yours.

If so, I may be able to help you. Or are you just trying to add a link? For
links, you can just access the page at Mediawiki:Sidebar.

Using the CreateBox extension I can insert some wikitext into a page to
create a button which, when pressed, creates a new page with the contents of
another page preloaded. It would be nice to have this button in the sidebar,

thanks for the quick reply, but I have two problems: first of all, I still
use version 1.12, but that's just a question of upgrading. More important,
