The mobile skin extension was created before (or about the same time as) the
Wikipedia mobile skin was developed. It was a generic solution but not
designed *for* Wikipedia.

There is http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:MobileSkin but there is no
mention that this is the actual skin Wikipedia uses and I could not find any
examples how that

Hello,
After upgrading to 1.16.0 on my test wiki, there's two users that are
deemed "Not Registered if I click on them under "User list".
Here is the error:
User account "JH293137" is not registered.
Please check if you want to create/edit this page.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
To import a new page, I used the script ImportTextFile.php.
I just had to create a text file with the content of my new page and call the
script with my text file as argument like that :

The local settings file only defines the default skin variable once and it is
set to cancervoicesnew. Also, after I log in my preferences shows the skin to
be cancervoicesnew. Still doesn't answer the question of when I initially
connect, the skin displayed is Vector and not that defined in the
