Hey,
What is the best/easiest way to get a parsed version (including template
resolution) of all entries of a wiktionary (separate html files for each
entry for example).
AFAIK action=render: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/foobar?action=render
Cheers

Import xml dump to a local wiki and run dumphtml
That is the approach I have been taking. However on my import the templates
are not imported in the db though present in the xml dump. The pages are
then rendered with red links instead of the rendered templates. What could
be the problem?
Thanks

But why don't you just use redirects?
Redirects wouldn't solve the problem. Users would be redirected to URLs
with spaces/punctuation, copy them from their browser's location bar and
still post them elsewhere.
Hi Jiuning,
I tried both of the markup that you pasted below.

*collapsmi ExpandByDefault=falsetext to be collapsed ...
/collapsmi
i.e. without a newline after the starting collapsmi tag.
A problem free way to do this

I'm thinking of using the DISPLAYTITLE tag, if a page name contains:
- brackets, commas, colons or apostrophes
I would try not to use these characters in the page name but sometimes they
have to be used. I would strip the page name of these characters and use dashes
instead, and these alternate
