Hello listmates,
How do I make it so that no one gets to become a user unless they are
cleared by an administrator of the MW installation?
Thanks.
Boris.

Hello everyone,
I was careless enough to run a MediaWiki installation allowing people to
sign up without a moderator's approval. Hence a few hundred of them did
sign up and started to use the site to swap images.
How can I delete their accounts in the most expeditious way?
Thanks.
Boris.

Hi all,
If you have MW 1.16 running - how stable is it? Any
problems/issues/improvements of note?
Thanks.
Boris.

Hello everyone,
I am a little confused.
The MW site http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki mentions two
versions available at once:
1.15.3 – 2010-04-07
1.6.12 – 2009-02-07
Meanwhile, a Beta version of 1.16 is out there, supposedly.
Yet this extension:

Hello listmates,
I have installed the secure pages extension on my Wiki. Here's the extension:
http://pluto.htu.tuwien.ac.at/devel_wiki/SecurePages
And I get no error messages - but it seems to simply not work. Has
anybody used this? Would anybody have any idea as to what I may be
doing wrong?
Hello listmates,
Are there people out there who allow their Wiki users to have
diaries/blogs/notes? If so, what's the accepted/recommended way of
doing it?
Thanks.
Boris.

Hello listmates,
Just wodnering if it is possible to set a Wiki in such a way that some
selected pages (like the login page, for instance) could only be
accessed via the secure interface (HTTPS)?
Thanks,
Boris.

Hi all,
I attempted to move a Wiki (MediaWiki 1.8.2) and failed because lots
of images/documents/PDF's that were part of that Wiki were for some
reason in the table for the external links ( mw_externallinks ) and,
on top of that, what I got is full pathnames. So, if my Wiki used to
live under http

Hello all,
How well does MediaWIki work with Java? If I want to use Java code to
parse files, access the database, provide or process content for my
Wiki - how easy or hard is it to make that happen?
Thanks.
Boris.

Hello listmates,
I have a MediaWiki 1.8.2 installation that needs to be modernized...
How realistic - how difficult - should I expect the procedure of
taking it up to 1.15 to be?
Thanks.
