Perhaps we could share experiences with you. It takes a lot more to get community running than just create mailing lists. If you are coming to SF,I will hold a session about building national communities. ( http://sf2011.meego.com/program/sessions/building-regional-meego-community-%E2%80%93-case-meego-network-finland). A lot our experiences are written in my blog: http://meego.ajatukseni.net/ my 2 cents, /Jarkko > But since the project is growing and the local communities too, I think > that is important to think about it and to expand the meego infra. > > One good approach is to create a SIG for that, so people can help to > manage and maintain the Meego's infra. > > Best regards > > Rodrigo Padula > > Em 10-05-2011 13:17, Foster, Margie escreveu: > >> -----Original Message----- > >> From: Dave Neary [mailto:nea...@gmail.com] On Behalf Of Dave Neary > >> Sent: Tuesday, May 10, 2011 9:12 AM > >> To: Foster, Dawn M > >> Cc: Rodrigo Padula; Dimitris Glezos; Foster, Margie; meego- > >> commun...@meego.com community > >> Subject: Re: [MeeGo-community] Communities Infra and initiatives > >> > >> Hi, > >> > >> Foster, Dawn M wrote: > >>> On May 10, 2011, at 8:35 AM, Rodrigo Padula wrote: > >>>> I've decide to improve my help creating a local community/project to > >>>> invite more Brazilians and people interested to use and help Meego to > >> grow. > >> > >> A great goal! > >> > >>>> I can create it in my infra, but the Meego official infra is the best > >>>> one IMHO. > >>>> > >>>> 1- for the Brazilian Portuguese translation team > >>>> > >>>> meego-il10n-pt_BR@meego [MeeGo-il10n-pt_BR] > >>>> > >>>> 2 - for the people interested to join, use , spread and discuss about > >>>> Meego in Brasil > >>>> > >>>> meego-community-br@meego [MeeGo-community-br] > >>> > >>> We've discussed this before, and we just don't have the resources > >>> to maintain new mailing lists for each language.
